1. What does your cost cover?
Elite: Covers all three courses; Notary Signing Agent, Advanced Course and the Reverse Mortgage course. It also includes unlimited test taking, mentoring, a Resource Manual, our exclusive client list for our graduates and free access to our Graduate Website.
2. How often do I have to be certified?
Once. We feel that once you are certified through us and are continually working as a Notary Signing Agent (NSA) then there is no need to be certified again.
3. How often do I have to have a background check and where can I go?
Some companies will ask for a background check ever year, and some will do much longer. Check with the hiring companies to see what they require. We do offer background checks through an affiliate (see the extra's tab).
4. How many times can I take the exam?
As many times as you need at no additional charge. All we ask is that you wait a minimum of 24 hours between each exam.
5. What happens after "graduation"?
You will receive your congratulations letter via email telling you what's next and where to download your certificate. You will have access to the graduate website (at no charge) which has the elite Client list, etc. After you pass the NSA course you can automatically move on to either the Advanced Course or the Reverse Mortgage course; if you purchased the elite package*.
6. What browser do you recommend to access the course?
We say Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.
7. Can I print from your website?
Documents only and we recommend that you download the documents to your computer first.
8. What is mentoring?
Mentoring is available after you graduate. Carol will be the mentor and will help you prepare for the signing as well as being available for you in the signing. Our mentoring program is specifically designed for after you graduate. Mentoring covers you for any and all signings that you may need assistance on. If you need clarification of a specific document, your client has a question you can't answer or you just need a little boost before a signing; we have you covered. Be sure to call either 916.777.5931 or 916.777.7889 to schedule an appointment or to inform Carol when your signing will take place. Mentoring will have no expiration date, however; we do ask that you be respectful of Carol's time.
9. Can my spouse and I sign up together?
Yes, we offer a buy one get one half off for husbands and wives. We do this because Carol and her husband Bill worked together for seven years and enjoyed every minute of it!
10. What is your payment plan?
We do not offer payment plans.
11. How does the extension work?
You can pay for either 3 months for $50. We also have a subscription plan for one year of access. You can extend or subscribe on the Register page.
12. Do you offer discounts for groups?
Yes, we do and depending upon the number of people discounts will vary. Please call us at 916.777.5931 for more information.
13. Do you offer military discounts?
Yes, we offer the course for $175 when you order with mentoring. You need to call us to sign up and we will ask for a copy of your DD214. If you are active we will ask for your MOS.
14. What are your additional resources?
Our additional resources consist of audio recordings, video recordings, teleconferences, items to print and much more. You can see a list of what we offer on our Library page.
